Abstract:
The 10 m meteorological and turbulence mast was operated on an ice floe next to RV Polarstern in the period 4 to 16 June 2017. The measurements were taken during the PASCAL (Physical feedbacks of Arctic planetary boundary level Sea ice, Cloud and AerosoL) campaign. The mast was installed around 150m from the ship, with the coordinates 10.950°E, 81.928°N (measured on 5 June 2017, 19h UTC). The mast was equipped with an ultrasonic anemometer at 10 m altitude (20 Hz sampling frequency) and a thermometer and barometer at 2 m altitude (1Hz). Instrument characteristics can be found in Egerer et al. (2019).
