Abstract (English):
The monograph presents the author's concept of the constitutional and legal theory of civil society in the Russian Federation, the analysis of the theoretical and philosophical foundations of civil society, including those that were elaborated by the Russian philosophers and legal scholars of the pre-revolutionary period. The monograph is devoted to the history of civil society in Russia; actual issues of the content and understanding of such terms as "civil society", "civil society institution"; the system of civil society institutions, including the impact affected by modern communication technologies and the process of digitalization; the legal nature of institutions that contribute to the development of civil society in Russia; the features of civil society's development on the regional and local level. Special attention is paid to the modern issues of functioning the legal mechanisms of interaction between society and state. The monograph contains a significant number of historical and modern scientific sources. In addition, the analysis of the current federal legislation and the legislation of the subjects of the Russian Federation has been made as well as the prospects of its development have been appraised.
