The partial maximum a posteriori probability (MAP) principle allows a decision on the list length of the list-based MIMO detection at a certain SNR to provide near optimal performance. The computationally efficient lattice reduction (LR) is adopted with the partial MAP-based list detection, where the column reordering criterion (CRC) is carried out to further reduce the list length and complexity.
